Château du Puy Bonnet is located in the hills of the district of Parsac, bordering the Saint-Emilion appellation and only separated by “La Barbanne” stream. Here the soils are of the same quality as its prestigious neighbour’s premium clay-limestone terroir, and with the vines planted on the slopes, ensuring the grapes can reach optimum maturity.
The architecture of this 19th century château is magnificent, and the brainchild of the former director of the Bordeaux Opera House. The estate did not wait to take its lead from the Grand Cru wines to construct a state of the art winery, complete with gravity-fed grape receival system. At just a stone’s throw from the Saint-Emilion appellation, Château du Puy Bonnet boasts all its elegant, supple character. It’s a tempting proposition to cross the stream to discover an attractive wine that combines family tradition and modern techniques to stunning effect.

A delicious Montagne-Saint-Emilion wine
Deep garnet in appearance, Château Du Puy Bonnet reveals extremely ripe red fruit aromas on the bouquet, and develops slightly spicy notes. Supple and pleasing on the palate, the wine is defined by its delicious fruit character, freshness and lingering finish.
